My journey to healthier eating started when I realized that the foods I was consuming were taking a toll on my body. I experienced constant stomach discomfort, bloating, and overall sluggishness. Despite multiple doctor visits and prescribed medications, I knew I needed a different approach, one that focused on nourishing my body with real, wholesome foods.
I didn’t realize just how much the food we eat and our lifestyle choices impact our overall health, well-being, and physical appearance. The foods we consume are more important than we think, playing a crucial role in how we feel inside and out. Through small, sustainable changes, I transitioned to a cleaner way of eating, and the results were life-changing. Not only did my stomach issues drastically improve, but due to my positive changes with eating and exercise, I successfully lost 40 pounds and achieved a healthier, more energized version of myself. More importantly, I discovered a true love for nutritious meals and the positive impact they can have on both physical and mental well-being.
My passion for health and wellness is backed by education and hands-on experience. During my time at San Diego State University, I had the opportunity to take multiple courses in exercise and nutritional studies, gaining in-depth knowledge of how food and fitness work together to support a healthy lifestyle. After graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in Communication, I realized I wanted to combine my love for connecting with people with my passion for health. Now, I’m currently training to become a certified nutrition coach to further help others on their wellness journeys.
